Tursunali KUZIEV was Former Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Since 2017, he has been Deputy Head of the Islam Karimov Scientific Center Named after Uzbekistan. Karimov, Former President of Uzbekistan.

In 1969 to 1976, KUZIEV studied in the Department of Art Education of National Art School Named after Benkova, and served in the army from 1970 to 1972. In the 1970s, he taught the art courses at Sergeli Vocational School and the sketching and landscape painting courses for freshmen at Tashkent Pedagogical University Named after Nizami. In 1982, he graduated from the Department of Painting Arts of Ostrovsky Tashkent University of the Arts with his major in schedule. After graduation, he served as chief designer in Dzharkurgan. From 1987, he became Chairman of the Surkhandarya Branch of the Soviet Cultural Foundation Moscow. Since 1992, he had served as Director of the Republican Art College Named after Benkova and taught the course of landscape painting and composition there. Since 1995, he had been Advisor in the Office of President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. From 1996 to 1997, he served as First Vice Minister and Acting Minister of the Culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 1997, he led the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan and taught at the National Institute of Fine Arts and Design Named after Kamoliddin Behzad. He was also elected Chairman of the Union of Artists of Uzbekistan that year. From 2000 to 2005, he served as a Member of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2011, the President appointed him as the Minister of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He once held Professorship of the Department of International Journalism at the University of World Languages of Uzbekistan, teaching the course of Media Education, Cultural Studies, National Condition Studies and Fundamentals of Spirituality.

From 2001 to 2013, KUZIEV served as Chairman of the Board of Uzbekistan-Vietnam Friendship Association. He led the Palvans National Center Committee from 2014, and Vice President of the Chess Federation of Uzbekistan from 2016.

From 2017, KUZIEV, as a key contact person for China-Uzbekistan cooperation, actively participated in the "Marching on the Bright Road" Program with Chinese enterprises. It healed many cataract patients in Uzbekistan.
